FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How does virtual therapy work?
Before your intake session, you will receive a link to my secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. The link will take you directly to the meeting and you will use this same link for each session. The platform works on all devices but a steady internet connection on a computer will work the best. For your confidentiality, please make sure you are in a private setting.
What are the benefits of virtual therapy?
Being able to meet online is very convenient. It cuts down on travel time and clients report that it is often easier on their work schedule. You even have the ability to dress comfortably, hang out with your pets and do therapy from your couch!
Do you take insurance?

- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
I am in network with the following insurance companies
- Blue Cross/Blue Shield
- United Healthcare/Optum
- UMR
- Health Choice
- Cigna
What are your fees?
$120 for 55 minute session
I require a minimum of 24 hours cancellation notice. For late cancels or missed appointments, I may charge the full session fee.
What happens in the first session?
During the intake session, we will review the paperwork and discuss confidentiality and the therapy process. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and get to know me and I will use the session to ask about your history and get to know you as well. We will discuss treatment goals and frequency of sessions and spend the session making sure you feel comfortable moving forward with therapy.
